However, I still have a question. I don’t think it’s the CMOS battery because when I change the settings and it does post, the changes still remain but pc still at 1. If your timings are set too tightly or if you don’t have PC RAM, that may be causing your problems.

Please set that jumper to the MHz. And there is a definite point between standard and experience I leave my pc ON most of the time even during the night to download large files etc.
