Sound driver problem for MCP51 High Definition Audio
I am fairly new to Linux. Ubuntu Audio Team audioo. Also make sure, that you use “asoundconf set-default-card NVidia” and not “asoundconf set-default-card nvidia” or something similar, it won’t work this way.
I had to turn it on manually in alsamixer. I get a system beep instead of a login sound, for example, and the sound icon in the tray shows up as muted.
